I was just reading a post about how a poor chap had been snowed/ iced off the pool this year.

Suppose bookings take place on the last Sunday in January, Les fills all the following year with bookings on phone wars day and then someone gets snowed/iced off in February. Does that mean they have to wait a further year to be slotted in?

I'm sure this scenario has occurred and there is an emergency plan to deal with it but I wondered what that plan is? If bookings were taken on the middle Sunday in March for example then the afore mentioned scenario wouldn't be an issue.

I guess there is a perfectly logical explanation for January, obviously gets the revenue in earlier, but does the weather in winter play havoc with bookings ever?

Be interested to hear others thoughts......
